Hello, I'm Danielle!


I’m a Phoenix, AZ-based photographer specializing in sports and portraiture. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me enjoying tacos or burgers (yes—two very different foods, but both so good), rewatching Harry Potter (Gryffindor, of course), or hiking my favorite trails in Sedona. I’m also a full-on photography geek. One of the highlights of my summer in 2024 was visiting Yosemite National Park and seeing Ansel Adams’ original prints and gear on display—an unforgettable experience.

My love for photography started in middle school when I was constantly taking photos with my phone. By high school, I had my first real camera, and deep down, I always knew I wanted to become a professional photographer. That dream became more real when I graduated from Glendale Community College with my Associate's in Commercial and Freelance Photography.


During my time at GCC, I interned at a Phoenix-based photography studio that eventually brought me on as an employee. It was there that I discovered my passion for sports photography. I originally thought I’d pursue product photography (which I still enjoy), but there’s just something about the energy of sports that lights me up. Since then, I’ve photographed golf, baseball, and track and field—and I’m always looking for new sports to cover.

Though sports and portraits are my specialties, I also enjoy capturing products, food, and events. So, if you're hosting something special or launching something exciting, I’d love to help document it. And when I’m not shooting commercially, I stay grounded by working on fine art projects. I shoot medium format film on my Hasselblad and love diving into creative ideas like my figurative study series. While I don’t promote my fine art work as much, it’s something I deeply value and continue to develop in my free time.

Travel also plays a huge role in my work and inspiration. I usually opt to bring my film camera on trips, and my Summer 2024 series features images from Utah, California, and Northern Arizona. Most recently, I traveled to Japan in May—an amazing 2.5-week trip where I photographed stunning landscapes and soaked up the culture. I’ll be sharing more about that soon. In July, I’m headed to Hawaii and bringing my Hasselblad, so stay tuned for those images too!


I’m also excited to share a new creative project I’ve started: custom handmade frames. As a photographer, I have so many images that deserve better than basic store-bought frames. So I began designing and building my own from thick, quality wood. Each one is crafted with care, and I plan to make them available for purchase soon. I’ll be sharing updates on that journey as well.

Overall, I’m so grateful to do what I love and share it with others. Photography is powerful—it captures real moments that tell a story and create lasting memories. One of the best feelings is seeing someone light up when they see themselves in a photo. That’s the magic I strive to deliver.
